The Provost

Presently the position of provost is occupied in acting capacity by Pastor G.O.A Alakuko - CIPS, B.Th (UMCATC), M.A (O.O.U) Ph.D in View (OOU).

He is the senior academic administrator at the Seminary.

Basically, the provost is in charge of supervision and oversight of curricular, instructional, and research affairs. Other principal officers report to the provost or jointly to the chief executive officer and the provost, as do the heads of various interdisciplinary units and academic support functions, such as libraries, student services, the registrar, admissions and information technology.

The provost, in turn, is responsible to the institution's governing board for oversight of all educational affairs and activities, including research and academic personnel.

The Provost delegates responsibilities to the Deputy Provost, management staff when it is due, for quality performance and relevance of the institution.
